Tut: Selectively Blur a Background {GIMP}

Sometimes the background to a photograph distracts from the subject itself. One of the tools in our arsenal is the ability to blur it out. This tutorial for GIMP will show you how to perform a basic blurring, whilst leaving the subject intact.

Thank you for sharing your photos.

I'm creating a website for my new B'n'B in the Czech Republic and am considering using your bike photo as an inspiration image for what activities the guests can engage in.

However, the image is too small. I need at least 3Mb for my graphic designer to be able to work with it. Is it possible to obtain a good quality high resolution image?
