Thanks to SXC I entered the microstock and now on iStockPhoto my files doing great just like this golden dice illustration


I started here with some photos and the first successful 3D design was

It got even mentioned on the first page:)
It's almost two years now, oh well...

November,December 2009 and January 2010

There is no StockXpert anymore (who knows..;)) though.
Lately i have not published here my sales results.
You are welcome to view reports for these three months at my regular blog.

In my portfolio at iStockPhoto again the leader image is this virus stylized illustration.
I have now 47 files and 63 sales.
Also for testing purposes i OPTed in the partner program, will see.

My microstock results for October 2009

Even though the November report is comming soon, but i forgot to mention about my October summary sales report.

Unfortunately at iStock it wasn't great.. I just can't upload so much there. Still have some keywording rejections issues and many photos to resubmit . It's not what i like most, so my micro portfolio can't work enough efficient.

Rule is easy: You do not submit? You won't sell it.

I have plenty of ideas and prefer to create than just resubmit because of single word or some strange reasons.

Fortunately after corrections my images are accepted, so it's just question of time.

My October at iStock:
* -37.5% DL, -23.39% in $
* -54.68% in $ to best month
* average all time DL value = $3.03

Nothing special.. but! Overall earnings don't look so bad.

My stock photo report for September

This month iStock and Stockxpert switched for me, anyways such small portfolio at iStock is doing very well. Unfortunately they have rejected my viral series, accepting just one image and it takes now same plece as my previous bestseller. I'll have to write Scout asking for help with this.

I'm glad to see that sxc.hu is back on trails. In August i've uploaded almost nothing - anywhere :/ Hope it'll change in September.

Forgotten report for July

For those interested in earnings from selling photos on the web.

July at StockXpert was down -30% in $ but there was more downloaded images about 20%.

It might be because iStock takes now some field from StockXpert.

I've joined iStock about 18 months ago but started to upload two months ago.
Unfortunately submitting process is very inconvenient for me and keywording system works different than on other microstock sites.
My SIX uploaded images earned about 6$ (during vacation period). It looks like iStock will easy beat my other 2 sites '123' and 'BSP'. Thus i uploaded 4 more images and try to submit in small batches cause it's getting on my nerves;)

June in numbers

Altough there are some weird business moves around StockXpert, this month was my BestMonthEver with sales. I hope the site will still exist cause from my point of view it looks stable and promising.

StockXpert (SXP) +23% DLs (downloads ) and +27.38% in $.
- average all time DL value = $.68
- overall RPI = $.32
