I had the same problem

posted by florinf, Jan 26, 2008 9:19 PM — 1 comments

I had my images approved and showcased on the "new images" pages. Great!

Then, I was not satisfied with the title of some of my images, so I have changed them.

Went to the "new images" to see them, and indeed I found them, but ... they had no thumbnails. They have their new titles, but nobody could see them (at least for a couple of hours, until the database update).

Advice:
1. Choose the title carefully, so that you don't have to rename them too soon.
Or,
2. Leave them as they are, for the time they are shown on "new images".
When they are no longer showcased there, and they are only to be found in your gallery, you can change their titles.

Meanwhile, you can add more keywords to you images.
That is OK, even if the database updates in a while, they are still visible.

I hope it helps.

Good luck.

Hi there!

Your photo of the Little girl by window is truly inspiring. I would like to use this picture for a website specializing in publishing quality e-books for parents and children up to 11 years of age.

My website is http://www.brainycon- nections.com/

Thank you,

Lisl

Hi, I'm setting up a new website for linking up families/carers of people with disabilities and want to use your photo: Family tickling each other on one of the pages (It would be the photo that accompanies the "Families Journeys" page. Would you permit that?
Many thanks!

Thanks for the kind words guys, still means a lot that a tutorial I did so long ago is still relevant and appreciated.
