Repeating Flash

posted by carlos24, May 30, 2008 11:47 PM — 13 comments

This is to show how to set up your camera so that you are able to get repeating flash's, which enables you to take different types of photos. For example you are able to do such images as that shown below:

Here is a video showing what you will get if you look at the camera itself:

Here is a video explaining how you are able to do it:

So thats how you set it up on the camera. All you need now is a tripod. Have what you want to take a picture of infront of you and set the camera to a long exposure. The image above from the golf ball I did with a 2" exposure with a low f/ number of about 20ish, mainly to try and keep the light out. I also had it on 100ISO to make sure there were no grains on the image, but also to make it darker.

Try and take the image in a dark room or dark area.

As seen above, this enables you to do different types of photography. The camera that was used for the demonstration was a Nikon D80

Hi there!

Your photo of the Little girl by window is truly inspiring. I would like to use this picture for a website specializing in publishing quality e-books for parents and children up to 11 years of age.

My website is http://www.brainycon- nections.com/

Thank you,

Hi, I'm setting up a new website for linking up families/carers of people with disabilities and want to use your photo: Family tickling each other on one of the pages (It would be the photo that accompanies the "Families Journeys" page. Would you permit that?
Many thanks!
