Upload Help Required

Hi All,
I am having a lot of difficulty uploading images to this site at the moment. I have read the frequently asked questions but this has been no help. I have followed the upload instructions, ensuring my images are within the 8mb upload size, put in tags, description & selected categories. After I submit the images and wait a while I get re-directed to my "home" folder where all my other images are but my new images have not been uploaded. I have had several attempts at this but each time they fail to upload. I have also tried the ftp server but all I get is a page displaying
Index of ftp://ftp.sxc.hu/../
I can't work out how to upload using this as there is no way of copy & pasting. I have not uploaded in a few months now so I'm not sure if I’m doing something wrong so some detailed help would be much appreciated.

Hi,

If you post this question in one of the forum topics suck as "Newbie corner" or "technical questions" many more people will see your posting and be able to help you.

My first question is are you using Internet Explorer? If you are download Firefox and try uploading one photo.

Hi,
Thanks for the prompt reply but i'm already using firefox and i've tried switching to explorer but still does not work.

Do you know if your computer is using a firewall?

I've finally sussed it out :-)
For some reason when I tried uploading 5 images at once they were not uploading, but when I tried uploading 1 image on it's own and then the other 4 all together they were uploading fine.
Thanks for all the replys to my post.

p.s I still can't figure out how to upload using the ftp server lol
