Hello -

Here is a link with the latest pictures refused (almost always for the same reasons) on SXC:

hey dimitri,

love your photos man! No idea who is 'approving' all the submission.. must be a die-hard-everything-must-be-perfect-photographer or a old-skool-cant-keep-up-with-times guy.. lol!

I have lotsa pics rejected and that just stops you (well, me) from ever submitting anything after.. *sigh* and their reason is always so *silly*...

happy new year!

Very artistic and sophisticated yet natural.

@ Dimitri
you should start your own image site. You have the talent and skills.

These are awesome. This site NEEDS MORE photos like these. I'm sorry they're giving you troubles, dude. God Bless.

These are great pictures!

Given the amount of shit pictures on here I am surprised they would refuse such great quality photos

Another one bites the dust, I mean this site...now that it belongs to Getty, they a) must play safe and b) push as many people as they can towards their paid services. A wave of refusals is inevitable. All sorts of reasons - technical, copyright etc... Today they refused a pack of pics where there was a train, even if it was only a fragment of an unmarked side - risk of copyright/trademark infringement.. go figure.

Are there any free exchange sites anywhere in the world yet?

.....and, funny or not, the moment I posted this remark, the reviewing of my new submissions just stopped. They are all pending since that very moment. Paranoya, eh?)))))))) maybe just a coincidence...maybe)

I am trying to upload some graffiti samples, it may be a puzzle for the Getty, but there are also some very neutral textures and so on... Well, we'll wait and see. But if you hear of a site that is more like SXC used to be, please let me know...

They didin't accept those!? wtf,
I think your pictures are wonderful and show personality and it would be great to actually see them in good resolution. Yeah
if anyone knows of a website where people can exchange edgy creative pictures I would be there in a flash.

Beautiful pictures... Why wouldn't they want them?

Very nice pics. I'm guessing these guys are looking for something very specific, otherwise they wouldn't have rejected those.

rgbstock is a good alternative to sxc. They rejected lots because they want to keep enough images on here to draw people in (offer free stuff), but not so many that people don't click through to their pay sites - specially istock - which is what makes the money...
