Revolutionary Skin Tone Master Profiles
posted by lobos, Dec 12, 2010 9:41 PM — 4 commentsThe revolutionary usage of color profiles that Skin Tone Master Profiles make use of is for color transformations and corrections, and specifically to achieve the perfect skin tones or to the taste of each person, within applications like, for example, Photoshop. Generally, the color profiles are produced specifically for this or that color space or device, whether they are used for input, display or output, to allow the interpretation of the numerical values of the color from a digital image and to be able to properly represent its color appearance.
In contrast, Skin Tone Master Profiles are produced with particular characteristics and attributes, and device-independent and color-space-independent to some extent, that allow a new, special, creative, dynamic and interactive interpretation of the numerical values of the color from that same digital image, with emphasis on the numerical values related to skin tones.
Once you find the new and proper interpretation (the profile or profiles that are adequate), or to the taste of each person, resulting a new, special and creative color appearance, follow the other procedure to change the numerical values of color from that digital image to reflect the new, special and creative color appearance, and in this way, consolidating the color transformation, adjustment and/or correction of that digital image. Therefore, you get the skin tone or skin tones you wanted for that digital image.
