Please credit me for image use
posted by fotoviva, Aug 12, 2012 8:27 AM — 5 commentsLooking through my photos on SXC I can see they have been downloaded thousands of times which I really appreciate. I'm stoked you like the photos I take so much and can make use of them in your design work.
Customers do send me emails asking permission or saying where the pictures will be used which is great to know.
If you would like to use one of my photographs for a website please credit me with a live link to http://www.fotoviva.co.uk
For printed use please credit:

Thanks again!

Thanks for that information. I'm new to this all, and can't see where to ask a question, so thought you may know the answer to this one: if I want to use an image from this site in an ebook, is that OK? Obviously I'll give credit to the photographer, but I just want to check I can use photographs for that purpose?
Thanks

Hi
Each photographer will have different copyright requirements so when you find a picture you want just have a look on the page and it will say what kind of copyright is needed. Generally you should be able to use the images for an e-book though.
