What to do with my addiction?
posted by vancanjay, Mar 14, 2006 8:51 AM — 0 commentsIt's been a few months and almost 16000 downloads are logged on my user account. I have no idea how 99.9 % of these are getting used. I'm assuming graphic designers are manipulating and playing with em' along side a group of people who want some new wallpaper for their monitors.
I find myself checking for new comments a few times a day while during the first few weeks I only checked to see if my images were accepted. At the time that was only about once per week.
I read the forum not always caring about the content, but wanting to stay in loop, posting every so often so people have another outlet to search my gallery. It's kind of funny but that's the main reason I started this blog too.
No doubt many of you feel the same way as I do and many more will feel this way in a few months after this "crack" like behaviour grabs you one day.
I'm trying to look out a few years and imagine if I will keep up this crazy pace or move on, only checking back when someone emails me to let me know where they have used an image somewhere interesting.
If I were financially set for life, and had an extra 8 hours a day for my family, I could easily spend a good chunk of the next few years of my life on this treadmill. As this is not the case, I think I will just.....
