The 2006 Cycling Season is well under way. The Spring Classics have been contested; the tours are coming up... Who will fill the gap that Lance Amstrong left behind? Ullrich, Basso, Vinokurov?

The Giro d'Italia is about to start, followed by the Tour the France in July and the Vuelta d'España in September.

Where are those cycling fans? Hidden in winter time, aching for those first races.



Quiet countryside roads turn into battle fields. Crowds gather from far away. Motorcycles, police, ... the race's radio is on speaker. Helicopter noise is nearing, nervosity rises.
