a few thoughts

posted by weebit, May 5, 2006 5:49 AM — 3 comments

I take on average 300+ pictures per week. Some I thought would be great turned into crap as soon as I saw them. Older children are the hardest to me to take pics of. They are conditioned to pose for the camera. (thanks to their parents) I don't like children posing. I would lots rather catch them off guard.

Light is my next hang up. My camera is cheap so I have to make the best of it. Sometimes my best still turns out to be crap.

I guess I am picky? Perhaps too I may of missed a few pics for uploading them here.
Everyone says that YOU are your worst critique.

The cost of your camera means nothing. Some of the best photographers in the world have captured beatiful pictures with just a disposable camera.

To true aklepsteen. Without the proper eye, and tons of trial and error experience that ever elusive 'perfect' pic will remain that way, 'elusive'. Keep on trying, never give up, never surrender!

I don't suppose that cost of a camera would be a real big issue. It can cause problems if the camera is not good for taking like for instance flash pictures. I am still learning with mine. My camera doesn't like closeup shots. They are my biggest challenge. it does great in full sun, and sort of close.
