Approval Timeline
posted by tdenham, Aug 25, 2006 4:44 AM — 2 commentsApproval can take anywhere from a few minutes to a few weeks depending on the queue and number of approvers working. Another thing that can cause a delay in approvals is if the first approver isn't sure about approving your photo they may pass it to another admin for a decision, which can cause more delay.
In addition if a photo is not accepted that does not mean it's a bad photo...it may be a good photo, but not suitable as stock...I've seen good stock photos that are technically poor, but they make good stock.
I've learned by looking at other peoples photos and a lot of trial and error. Also try to clean up your photos if they have noticeable noise. Noise seems to be one of the popular reasons photos are not accepted.
Good luck and hang in there!

Hi,
Thank you for sharing your photos.
I'm creating a website for my new B'n'B in the Czech Republic and am considering using your bike photo as an inspiration image for what activities the guests can engage in.
However, the image is too small. I need at least 3Mb for my graphic designer to be able to work with it. Is it possible to obtain a good quality high resolution image?
Thank you,
Smidulenka
