Shooting a B&B

posted by ytchew, Nov 19, 2006 11:35 AM — 4 comments

Was commissioned to shoot the interiors of a bed and breakfast today. It was a fun shoot - used only two lenses - the 18-55mm and 50mm Nikkor. Also did some food shots for their menu. The best thing about food photography is, you get to eat the spoils (provided it's not done up by the food stylists) :)

Hi, very nice pictures, they express a good relaxed feeling about the B&B. Those of the food look even better. But I would remove that B&W-picture. It looks too grungy and has a totally different atmosphere then the other photos. It just doesn't fit in according to me.

I would play with them in Photoshop. I mean the corners and the lines.... they look like they wanna fall out of the picture... I dunno..

Thanks for the feedback, cancsajn. Will see what I can do about those lines ;)
