New Camera
posted by sofa, Dec 12, 2005 3:29 AM — 5 commentsWell, my dad went in, yesturday, to put my camera on hold. I am so completely excited to get ANY new camera, but this one is amazing. I WANT IT NOW!
It is a Canon Digital Rebel XT (350D)! And to add the the amazement, I'm getting a 17-85 IS USM lense - which did not make my mum too happy. The lense raised the price of the camera about $500+. But somehow the man in the photography store (whom I have been emailing back and forth with) convinced my father that it was worth it.
All in all... I'M EXCITED!

That is a fantastic lense! I have one on my 20D and it is perfect, the autofocus is super-quick and the image quality gained from it is top class.
If it makes your mum happier, over here in England I bought the same lense for 550pounds... which is about $800, so tell her you've got a bargain!!!!
