WHAT DO YOU WANT?
posted by amdavis, Apr 10, 2007 8:42 PM — 11 commentsAs a graphic artist i know what it's like trawling photo sites looking for a certain image to compliment your work and keep your client happy.
It can be a labourious job and in the hectic world of design, time consuming and frustrating.
So come on, give me your requests and i will try to help you.
I look forward to receiving your requests.

I'm looking for history-related shots. Old records, journals, pictures of libraries, books even. A real challange is finding royalty free heritage shots - like photos of people in the late 18, early 19 hundreds.
Anything that can relate to genealogy or family history type stuff would be pure gold, as its hard to come by.

re: johnsonwr
Unfortunately i am unable to assist you in your quest for late 18 early 19 hundreds photos of people as my time machine is not working at the moment.
You could try Marty McFly or Bill and Ted as i know they have had access to time machines in the past, or was it the future????

I am always on the look-out for photos of career people (i.e. a judge, a lawyer, an airline pilot, stewardess, etc.), photos that represent wealth (i.e. wrought iron gates, mansions, expensive antique cars, cigars, shot of a stocks/bond at an angle, coins, stack of US money, etc.), I have use for photos of same-sex couples in conversation at coffee tables, meetings, etc. My clients are real estate agents who sell frequently to very high class people, sometimes more mature investors, or even same gender clients who are buying their first home. I seem to find very "trendy" photos and not traditional, conservative photos that could be well used for investment or major purchase type persons. Does that help? Thanks, Harritah (ritaharris@cbba.com)

I would like some decent pictures of me.
Everytime I try to take one, all I get is this old person looking back at me.
Cheers Mate.....

Hiya Adam, I just have to say I love your pic of the dripping baby bottle. I'll be using it as a header for an article my wife has written on breast milk vs formula. I will of course credit you :)
Take care and keep snapping!

Hi,
Thank you for sharing your photos.
I'm creating a website for my new B'n'B in the Czech Republic and am considering using your bike photo as an inspiration image for what activities the guests can engage in.
However, the image is too small. I need at least 3Mb for my graphic designer to be able to work with it. Is it possible to obtain a good quality high resolution image?
Thank you,
Smidulenka
