many thanks!

To be honest I don't have my own professional equipment yet. All of these photos that I took are all from a point-and-shoot camera most especially the most recent one. It was from a friend's cybershot phone. The rest, were from a borrowed P&S cam from my friends whenever I have the chance. I make sure that as if each shot I make, will be paid a hundred bucks. knowing that I'm just using anybody's camera...hehehhe....Maybe that's where my inspiration came from.

I do promise that if ever I'd be able to have my own equipment I'll make my shots more creative and beautiful.

If any photography enthusiast is reading this and you think not owning an equipment hinders you to pursue this very interesting hobby/profession....man! I just proved you wrong!

Anyway...a million thanks to all of you who visited my page and downloaded my pics!

Hey. Went to go look at your pics. You obviously have an eye for it and I urge you to invest in some starter equipment, but go Digital SLR...

You'll be amazed - as I was - that once you've laid out some hard earned dosh the hobby fast becomes more that that.

Since joining SXC I have:

- Travelled more
- Observed more
- Enjoyed confidence building comments and ratings.
- Seen my photographs become better and better (thanks SXC)
- Learned much from other users and the tutorials

... but most of all I have been given licence to express some level of creativity. I have recently exhibited 5 framed works at a professional gallery and sold three of them in the first week. One has been in reprint (re-issue) 4 times. Incedentally, the money earned from this venture has just paid for my entire kit.

I have no other advice (who am I to give it?) than to GET A CAMERA and GO ENJOY IT...

Look forward to seeing someone experience what I have in the last 18 months.

Dominic (aka cx_ed)

Good on you! The latest development in my photographic "adventures" (or misadventures) is that I have been offered the opportunity of doing my PPL (Private Pilots Licence) for free. Who says photography doesn't pay?

Your photo of the Little girl by window is truly inspiring. I would like to use this picture for a website specializing in publishing quality e-books for parents and children up to 11 years of age.

My website is http://www.brainycon- nections.com/

Thank you,
