Strawberry Delight

My most popular photo is of a strawberry. Over 3k downloads, and I have no idea what people are using it for. Anyone care to indulge my curiosity? :D

I wouldn't be surprised if people "tiled" it and turned it into wallpaper or background for teen girls' web sites. It is simple, elegant, colorful and silhouetted agains white, which makes it quickly and easily recognizeable and easy to wotk with. It competes with the best ads for Hagen Daz strawberry ice cream.

I have only been at this for about six weeks, and my fourth favorite download is a picture of . . . RUST. (Actually a detail of a rusty US Army tank.) It has risen to # 4 (out of a total of 1,300+ in just ten days! Who could have predicted that?

andrew: wow - thanks for the critique and compliments. :) In some ways, rust being popular doesn't surprise me, because it can make a really interesting photo with different shades, colours and textures. Makes for a great overlay texture in icons and banner graphics.
