A photo contest from the BBC
posted by jzlomek, Jul 10, 2007 12:56 PM — 4 commentsThe categories and their deadlines are: "Hidden," July 22; "Concentration," Aug. 5; "Look Down," Aug. 19; "Heritage," Sept. 2; and "Time," Sept. 16. As with contests conducted here at SXC, the BBC encourages photographers to "interpret (each category) as widely as you can - don't just think of the obvious." Up to three images may be submitted per photographer per category.
There are only two prizes. First place wins a Nikon D40x and lens; a runner-up "whose image catches our eye," according to the BBC, will be awarded "an extra prize."

Its due to skewing of the votes by some BBC producers - all interactive, phone and web votes/competitions have been cancelled! Wah - I wanted a go :(
