Member Photo Collections
posted by sundstrom, May 26, 2007 9:04 PM — 13 commentsSometimes I'm interested in the work by a specific member and would like to see the photos as organized by the member (using folders).
This is not directly supported by SXC as far as I understand. I've however solved it for some of my own photos by adding a unique keyword such that the search-url can be used to find a specific collection of photos. For example, here are two collections of mine:
Fractals
Brickwall Textures
Traffic Signs
Rocks and Stones
Skies and Clouds
Landscapes
Flowers

sundstrom's intro
I bring my camera whenever I see a chance to capture something new to my collection, whether it is in my garden or when travelling in my work.
I provide only high resolution photos although I understand this is overkill if your application is web authoring. I also understand that this choice makes the limitations of my work more visible like blur and chromatic aberration. For the more recent work I've therefore strived to more carefully optimize the settings on my equipment to minimize such undesired effects. What is left is therefore primarily the result of the my Nikon kit lense and to some extend due to the APS-C-sized sensor of Nikon D80.
Many of my newer photos are available in RAW format too and can be obtained on request. Hope you find something useful!
