This seagull is perched on a cliff towering over the blasket sound, at the far western end of the dingle peninsula, which is one of the most western points in Ireland. Great Blasket Island is less than 2 kilometers from this vantage point, a bit beyond the top edge of the photo. Beautiful place, beautiful country, highly recommend a visit - summer and fall are gorgeous. |

"well.... if you check my pics you notice that I made a photograph of a seagull at the very same point in Ireland this summer, and even called it the same name as you did (independent of you)... what a coincidence.."
