| » | Peace Lake Path This path runs around the outside of the summer palace lake, and is stop by three set of pavilions, with one of them is now a resturant and a mini palace. The path itself is very peaceful, but takes forever to walk. I was walking quite fast and it still took me like two hours, heck never done so much at one in my life. I don't know what is the name of the pavilion ahead in the photo, hech some are too similar to even remember. But each of them are named from each different peoms, written in the Kang Xi regin. The pavilion alone with most of the summer palace was burn by the angol french round the 17th century and rebuilt again in the 18th. I think that the dates, not too sure. But I was quite intrigue, since I always remember that during this period, didn't the English and French always hated one another? |
