"Hey: I just downloaded the pic. My comments were based on the PRE-downloaded image above-left. There appears to be some digital tinkering---no?! This is NOT a criticism, it's an observation. The fact is, most irregular, 'swirly' textures contain throngs of imaginary beings. Some visual art--mine, for example--is partially dependent on such 'illusionistic' perception."

"Truly a carnival for the imagination. The more you look, the more you see--especially if you're disposed to seeing 'things within things'. There are several cat mugs---and yeah: I see the wolf and the 'monk';There are also a couple of 'bat' faces, and a few traditional 'demon' faces. The range of chimerae varies also with the angle of viewing."
