"Gear used was a Canon 30D, Tamron SP90/2.5 manual focus macro lens, Tamron SP 01F 2x teleconverter, a tripod and a remote cable release. Last two are essential. I used mirror lockup as well."

"Thanks! I was really pleased to get this, but timing wasn't really in it. They sat there for hours like this: a very slow lunch. Plenty of time to set up the tripod and remote release, which explains why it's so sharp."
