"Thanks all! I am not sure if I can give a good tip on how to get a good shot, because to me it seems that the moon has different light everytime I try to take a new picture of it. My best advice would be to try taking a picture over several nights, and maybe be ready when it is brightest.. For this shot I could only see the moon as a bright circkle with the bare eye, and I testet various settings to finally get a shot I was pleased with. I had the camera on a tripod with a 1000mm lens. Some minor Photoshoping also, adjusting light, colors and contrast. No other manipulation, the circle is original... Hope this will help you!"
