I have always enjoyed taking and looking at photographs. I am finding myself becoming more and more aware of the world around me - and especially the quality of the light and try to take my camera with me most days - oh, for more time to play with my camera without being late for work!!!!

I had a Canon SLR (film) camera and a compact Olympus (digital); some years ago but wanted a new camera for a while and after being asked to photograph a friend's wedding this summer I decided to make the investment to buy a Nikon D80 and 18-200 Nikkor VR lens.

So am just exploring my camera at the moment and loving it!
