No one is an island, yet life is an intricate dance between our private and public selves. To be individuals but live in community. How do you know what your own part is? Everyone is full of formulas, everyone is telling you they have found “the secret.”
Will I do the same?
Nope, I just highlight all the artists I know one by one. I go to each person standing by the giant painting with his or her paintbrush, and I take a moment to spotlight him or her, and then move on to the next person.
