I personally believe that sxc is at its most useful when you find a great stock photo ready to be edited the way you want to. therefore, i try not to play around with my images too much (eg. desaturate, crop too much etc), and be arty (apply effects or major editing). sometimes you find a photo and think, 'oh, its great, but if only it didn't have that effect in it', or something like that. so sorry if my shots arent always too arty or creative; i am leaving that bit up to you. :-)
