Hand tinting or colouring black and white photos

I’m sure you have seen photos that have been hand coloured when a photo restorationhas been made. They might be the old photos you own or photos you have seen on the net, coloured by “restoration artists”. Old photos were often tinted with inks, this post is about digital colourization or hand colouring using a computer.

creating repeat patterns

Creating a repeat pattern is normally used for a background for a digital application of some kind, a web page, desk top or even as a texture for a game. In this post it will be used quite literally for a wall paper in an old photo restoration
